Ingredients
- 2/3 cup milk, room temp1/2 cup packed flour3 large eggs, room temp6-8 drops vanilla aroma (German) or 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (US)1/4 tsp salt4 tbsp unsalted butterpowdered sugar for dusting
Directions
- Preheat oven to 220°C.Mix milk, flour, eggs, vanilla aroma and salt in a blender until the batter is smooth.Melt 3 tbsp of the butter in a 10in cast iron skillet over high heat until bubbling, pour batter into center of the skillet. It will look like you ruined it, that is normal.Bake skillet in the preheated oven until puffed and golden, 20-25min. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
